Jen Rowland, Sustainability & Landscape Coordinator at Piper Shores Lifecare Retirement Community, shares a look at her role and the sustainability work underway on campus. She discusses how her position came about, the organization’s sustainability plan, and current projects, from energy efficiency upgrades to ecological landscaping and policies on dark skies and idling reduction. She also introduces the Sustainability Collaborative, the group working to carry the plan forward and bring more voices into the process.
