Effects of Climate Change on Health

Increasing heat due to climate change poses significant risks for the elderly and the poor. The elderly are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses, while the poor often lack access to cooling resources and adequate healthcare. Financial constraints and living conditions exacerbate their vulnerability, highlighting the urgent need for targeted interventions to protect these at-risk groups from the escalating impacts of climate change.
