Join us for a presentation by Dr. Meredith Kelly, Professor and Chair of the Department of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College and Faculty Director of the Dartmouth Climate Collaborative. She will draw on her research on mountain glaciers, ice sheets, and lake sediments to show how past glacier extents can be used to reconstruct past climate conditions. She will explore what these records reveal about natural (pre-industrial) climate change, and how mountain glaciers worldwide respond sensitively to climate change. Dr. Kelly will also highlight the Dartmouth Climate Collaborative and recent college-wide climate and resiliency efforts.
