Join us for a presentation by Ted Borer, Founder and President of Borer Energy Engineering, LLC and retired Energy Plant Director at Princeton University, will present A Time of Energy Transition at Princeton University… And In Your Life! Princeton University has used combustion-based energy from the 1740s to the present. The university is actively transitioning from natural gas-fired cogeneration, steam distribution, and chillers with cooling towers to renewably-sourced electricity, heat pumps, thermal storage, and geoexchange. This community-scale transition will be discussed alongside parallel activities that can be implemented the residential scale.
