About Lathrop’s “Is Community Solar Feasible for You or Your Chapter?” Case Study:
This audiovisual case study, created and presented by SSAFE Board Member George Kriebel, documents Lathrop’s community solar initiative: how residents can subscribe to a share of a community solar farm’s output as an alternative to rooftop solar, and how Lathrop specifically implemented it. Its purpose is to give other SSAFE chapters a practical reference for evaluating whether community solar makes sense for their own campus.
Objectives:
To help SSAFE chapters evaluate whether community solar is a viable option for their campus, and to give residents a model.
