April General Meeting: 04/02 at 11 AM ET: Kathleen Dean Moore, Reweave an Unraveling World

Join us for a presentation by Kathleen Dean Moore, Ph.D. an award-winning author and formerly Distinguished Professor of Environmental Philosophy at Oregon State University. In this presentation, she will explore why the environmental emergencies that face us are not just scientific or political crises, but moral catastrophes that call for a moral response. She will share why it is not enough to know; it is also essential to care. Drawing on her essays and citing global moral leaders, she will offer a wealth of reasons why we have an overriding obligation to leave a future as rich in possibilities as our own, and examples of how to transform moral conviction into personal and collective action, finding, at last, how to live with purpose and gladness in a rapidly unraveling world.
